Who we are and what we send

Smith Debnam Narron Drake Saintsing & Myers, LLP ("Smith Debnam") is a law firm. JP Rankin, an estate planning attorney in our Charleston office, hosts the free Estate Planning Made Simple workshop.

If you check the text message box on our workshop registration form, we will text you about the workshop you signed up for: your registration confirmation, workshop reminders, and the link to join the workshop. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Checking the box is optional. You do not have to agree to texts to register for the workshop.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to sign up for text messages from us. By checking the box, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

How to opt out and get help

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to (843) 920-3838. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at [email protected] or (843) 714-2534.

Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message frequency and rates

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive up to 5 messages for each workshop you register for. Message frequency may vary. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
